KTEB-140-1-TP-EMI Keystone Electronic Ballast - Low Temperature Rated

It works. The ballast smaller and lighter than my previous one. I live in Canada and it takes 10 days to get it from the States by UPS. Not too bad, I guess.

FIT PERFECTLY

Was in need of an aged ballast. Found out the model I had was discontinued. Big box stores didn't have an equivalent replacement (some were not very helpful). The Ballast Shop has a large selection of equipment and was able to quickly narrow my search to find a suitable replacement ballast. Ordering was quick & efficient and was delivered quickly even at standard UPS.

I replaced an old magnetic ballast (Universal 413-C-TC-P) for a single T12 40W tube with the ballast recommended by your tech folks (Keystone KTEB-140-1-TP-EMI), and with the recommended minor rewiring, it worked great. I ordered 10 more to have on hand for future replacements.

Like other reviewers, I have 1-bulb fixtures under the cabinets in my 1970 house and had trouble finding the correct ballast. I bought a 2-lamp ballast from Lowe's and despite trying wiring guides online it didn't work. I bought this one and I had it working in 15 minutes! Like David said, my original ballast had a weird third wire going from one lampholder to ground, but this one worked without it - as per the instructions. Very pleased!
