    Replacement Ballast

Posted by DENNIS PARTEKA on Apr 24th 2020

It couldn't have been any more simpler to replace the ballast, just match up the colored wires. It works great but it does make the other five light fixtures look inferior when starting. I'll definitely purchase more in the future.

    Works great!

Posted by Brian Biles on Apr 23rd 2020

Fast shipping, easy to read installation notes. Replaced 2 worn out bassasts. I am no electrician by any means, however, these worked perfect!! Would definitely buy from this company again. Just wish I had bought 3 instead of 2 as I really need 1 more now, just not willing to pay the flat rate shipping again for only 1.

Replacement for an old type ballast

Posted by Septana on Apr 14th 2020

This was a perfect replacement for an old type General Electric Ballast, 8G1022W for two 4ft T12 34 / 36W RS lamps, - it is exactly the same length as the old type so it fits with the same screws, so basically "plug and play"

Perfect fit. Had plenty of extra wire to make easy splice. The website was easy to navigate and showed me all the replacement ballast for quick and easy install.

    Excellent replacement

Posted by David Stevenson on Dec 1st 2019

Just a couple of usage notes. First, the old ballast is HEAVY. Be sure you have a good grip when unbolting it from the ceiling. Second, cut the old leads long until you work out the required lengths. All the tube leads are on the same end of this unit, so the yellows are a little short. Not a problem if you plan ahead... I was able to remove the socket assemblies from the fixture, so I could prewire the lamp connections (easier than working on the ceiling). This is a perfect fit for an old 10" ballast, and works great.

    Replacement Ballasts

Posted by Unknown on Oct 3rd 2019

These were used to service a 25 year old fixture in my kitchen I had been advised by both a clerk at a big box store and a knowledgeable gentleman at my local hardware store I would either not be able to find replacements for or if I did would cost me more than purchasing an entire new fixture. The reasonable cost and prompt shipment of these correctly identified replacement parts solved my problem. Thank you.

    Replacement Ballast

Posted by John MCGuire on Sep 4th 2019

New ballast works well. Installation was easy. I appreciated that the wire colors were exactly the same as on the old ballast.

This electronic ballast is the perfect replacement for the old magnetic ballast in older fluorescent fixtures. I bought LED replacement bulbs but they wouldn't play with the magnetic ballast and the fixture was old enough that newer un-shorted tombs

    Good product.
